Brad Keselowski is well-known for his humorous interactions with the press. Legacy Motor Club has given the keys of the No:43 Toyota Camry to a Truck Series driver, who is replacing the regular driver. The former Xfinity Series champion is unable to compete due to an injury sustained in a crash last week at Talladega. For racers, it is a disheartening experience to see someone else driving the car that was meant for them. The 2012 Cup champion emphasized how awful it feels, using a humorous analogy. The owner-driver of RFK Racing compared it to the feeling of discovering one’s spouse cheating with another person. “I’ve never witnessed someone sleeping with my wife, but I imagine that would be similar,” Keselowski remarked, discussing the emotions associated with someone else driving his car as Corey Heim makes his NASCAR Cup Series debut. Legacy MC has yet to make a decision on whether Erik Jones will return to racing the following week after Dover, as he is still recovering. Jones had mentioned before the race that he is improving each day and hopes to make a comeback soon. Meanwhile, Heim is taking advantage of the opportunity and is determined to prove himself. After the conversation about Erik Jones, Keselowski was asked about the Ford team’s winless streak in 2024 and RFK’s approach to it. He emphasized that his priority is to work on it with RFK and put in the effort required, as they need a positive moment. At the moment, the former champion needs to be more self-centered, as his goal is not only to end Ford or RFK’s winless streak but also to end his personal winless streak with the team. He has not won a single race since leaving Team Penske in 2021. In case you missed it:
