The NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Atlanta, in contrast to the season opener at Daytona International Speedway. RCR’s championship contender, , claimed victory in the race. It marked his second consecutive win, as he also emerged triumphant at Daytona last week. Hill secured the win after the front runners and ran out of fuel.
One particular incident involved a heated altercation between and the team of JJ Yeley. He was forcefully pushed by the No. 14 team’s Crew Chief . Before the situation escalated, they were promptly separated by officials, including those from NASCAR. Miller exclaimed, “Next time you touch my racecar!” during the altercation.
The heated incident was the result of an early race incident involving the pair. On lap 59, JJ Yeley in the No:14 car was spun by Weatherman. This caused Yeley to lose valuable momentum as he was separated from the main pack in a situation where aggressive driving from the Xfinity drivers was unnecessary.
According to other reports, Miller had already planned the confrontation. He was asked via the team radio where the No. 91 DGM Racing team would be pitting. Miller responded, “He better have some pants on after this race because I’m going to come find him.”
Weatherman, who was very active on social media (previously Twitter), engaged with his fans and shared his thoughts. He initially posted a video clip showcasing the incident along with a scene from Will Ferrell’s movie, the Step Brothers.
Later, he took to social media to discuss how his day went and admitted that it was a challenging race for him after sustaining damage earlier. He also mentioned the NASCAR officials quickly removing Miller from the scene following the altercation.
Got damage to the car really early and it was a struggle after that…right when I’m getting out of the car, a crew member approaches me and wants to start a fight. NASCAR officials swiftly intervened and removed him from the situation.
