Kyle Larson is ecstatic following his remarkable victory at Las Vegas. The 2021 NASCA Cup champion, representing Hendrick Motorsports, secured his third career win at the Las Vegas race on Sunday. Larson’s exceptional defense gave him the advantage over 23XI Racing’s top driver, resulting in a thrilling race. Although Larson had a dominating performance throughout the day, leading 181 of 267 laps and sweeping the stages with his No:5 Hendrick Motorsports Chevy, the race ultimately came down to the last few laps and his battle with Reddick. Larson clinched the victory with a mere 0.4 seconds margin in the sin-city.
After his triumph, Larson celebrated with his children both on the victory lane and on the track. His kids were incredibly proud of their father and delighted to share in the NASCAR star’s memorable moments. Larson’s son was the first to rush onto the scene, followed by his daughter. They joined their father on a lap to the victory lane, marking Larson’s 24th Cup race win.
During the trophy presentation in the victory lane, Larson was accompanied by his wife and youngest child. The entire family posed for photographs with the trophy, creating a proud and memorable moment for Larson as both a husband and a father.
Looking ahead, Larson and the Hendrick Motorsports team are eager to continue their impressive performance and seek redemption in the upcoming race weekend. With two victories already under their belt this season, HMS has proven that they have the potential to compete for the championship.
While Larson had a triumphant day, his teammates at HMS did not achieve the finishes they had hoped for. Willaim Byron was the second-best finisher for the team, securing a tenth-place finish, while Chase Elliott finished in eleventh place. Alex Bowman had a more challenging race, ultimately finishing in eighteenth place.
