After completing four laps in the Australian GP, Verstappen’s race came to an end due to an issue with his engine. This unforeseen incident was not part of the plan for the reigning world champion.
At the start of the race, Verstappen had a decent start and took the lead. However, he was soon overtaken by Ferrari’s [driver’s name]. While trying to catch up to the Spaniard, smoke started to emerge from Verstappen’s car, forcing him to make his way back to the pits.
This retirement is a significant setback for the 26-year-old driver. Prior to the 58-lap event, no one expected Verstappen to have a Did Not Finish (DNF) result, especially since he started from pole position.
