When it comes to batters with immense power in Major League Baseball, there are few who can match the strength of Toronto Blue Jays sensation Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
Known as Vladdy, he currently holds the title of MLB Home Run Derby champion and has already smashed an impressive 130 home runs in the Major Leagues before reaching the age of 25.
So, when he received an invitation to participate in a charity derby in Puerto Rico that utilized metal bats, the outcome was exactly as expected.
Guerrero teamed up with fellow stars Francisco Lindor of the New York Mets and Javy Baez of the Detroit Tigers for the competition. However, it was Vladdy’s team that emerged victorious in the final, with a score of 14-8.
What’s more, a camera angle from behind the plate captured Guerrero launching baseballs into what can only be described as an entirely different galaxy.

The Home Run Derby has always been the highlight of the MLB All-Star Break. However, in recent years, it has lost some of its excitement.
This begs the question…
Why aren’t they using metal bats?
After all, the records hold no real significance, and it would create a truly spectacular show.
Who wouldn’t want to witness Aaron Judge hitting a ball that travels 700 feet?
If I were the commissioner of MLB, my first action would be to host every derby at Coors Field, with the use of metal bats and juiced baseballs.
Who could possibly object to that?
