West Ham United may consider parting ways with David Moyes at the conclusion of the current season.
According to reports, West Ham director Tim Steidten is keen on appointing Thomas Tuchel as the club’s next manager, potentially leading to the departure of the Scottish manager in order to please Steidten.
Despite successfully guiding West Ham to victory in the UEFA Europa Conference League last year, Moyes’ performance in the Premier League this season has been rather lackluster. Unless there is a significant improvement in league results, Moyes’ future at the London club remains uncertain.
Although Moyes has performed reasonably well since taking charge at West Ham, the club will require a superior manager if they wish to consistently compete in European competitions.
Tuchel, having established himself at some of the world’s most prominent clubs, boasts previous experience in the Premier League. Having secured the Champions League title with Chelsea during his tenure in England, Tuchel could prove to be an excellent appointment for West Ham.
With a talented squad at their disposal, there is no reason why West Ham cannot strive for European qualification every season with the right manager at the helm. The addition of Tuchel would also make the club an enticing destination for players.
