Fabrizio Romano has responded to comments made by Wolves manager Gary O’Neil downplaying the possibility of star player Pedro Neto leaving the club during the upcoming summer transfer window.
The talented young Portuguese winger has been having an outstanding season in the Premier League, and Romano has previously informed us about the interest from Arsenal and his belief that Neto would be a great addition to the Gunners’ squad if he were to make a move away from Molineux.
Speaking exclusively to fans of Wolverhampton Wanderers, this news might not be well received, but it will certainly be encouraging for supporters of Arsenal. Additionally, other clubs will likely take notice of this development.
Neto is undoubtedly too talented to not be playing for one of the top six teams in the Premier League or even in another elite European league. However, it appears that Romano believes the 23-year-old could remain in England.
“Despite what Wolves manager Gary O’Neil has stated, I believe it will be extremely challenging to retain Pedro Neto at Wolves next summer. This is my personal opinion,” stated Romano.
“He is highly regarded by numerous clubs and while he may continue in the Premier League, a move to a top-tier club is a possibility for the summer.”
