The first details for the upcoming F1 Manager 2024 video game have been unveiled prior to its launch in the midst of the year. This game, which does not have an official release date beyond “summer 2024”, will mark the third installment in the F1 Manager series developed by Frontier Developments.
The standout feature in the 2024 edition will be the ability for players to establish their own team for the very first time, competing alongside the existing 10 teams on the F1 circuit. Players will be confronted with a multitude of pivotal choices as they construct their teams, such as weighing the pursuit of established top talent versus signing promising future stars on and off the track. Additionally, they will need to decide whether to prioritize immediate car upgrades for swift success or invest in facilities to secure a lasting presence at the forefront of the grid.
Furthermore, the game will introduce a novel mentality system for drivers and staff, aimed at highlighting their distinct personalities and demands. Players will be tasked with managing team morale while contending with an “enhanced AI” that aims to narrow the gap between players and their adversaries.
In a bid to add an extra layer of challenge, the game will incorporate mechanical failures as an ever-present threat capable of disrupting even the most robust strategies.
F1 Manager 2024 will be accessible on various platforms, including PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.
