Chip Ganassi Racing has unveiled a fresh appearance for Alex Palou’s vehicle for the upcoming IndyCar campaign. While defending his second championship, Palou will showcase the recognizable DHL colors, but with a revamped design compared to previous DHL-sponsored cars. The cockpit and Aeroscreen will be adorned with the company’s deep red logo, while the wings and sidepods will feature the traditional yellow, creating a predominantly red front view and a predominantly yellow side view for the #10 car. Palou expressed his enthusiasm for the new DHL US livery, deeming it a perfect car to defend his title.
DHL is embarking on its inaugural sponsorship with Chip Ganassi Racing in the 2024 season, after parting ways with Andretti Global at the end of the previous season. The collaboration with Andretti had lasted since 2011, with the livery remaining relatively unchanged throughout the past 12 years. Initially, many expected Palou’s car to retain the same design upon the announcement of the familiar sponsor. However, a new look has been selected to represent the company as it embarks on a fresh partnership with Ganassi. The debut of the new livery will take place during the first round of the 2024 IndyCar season in St. Petersburg. In the previous year’s event, Romain Grosjean secured pole position with the DHL colors, and Palou aims to replicate that achievement in just over two weeks’ time.
