The Phoenix Suns hosted the Milwaukee Bucks for the final game of Tuesday’s schedule, and the matchup lived up to its expectations. The Suns’ trio of star players combined for a total of 85 points, with Devin Booker leading the way with 32 points, Bradley Beal contributing 25 points along with ten rebounds, and Kevin Durant adding 28 points and ten boards. Despite a stellar performance from Giannis Antetokounmpo, who scored 34 points, grabbed ten rebounds, and dished out six assists, Frank Vogel’s team emerged victorious with an eight-point margin.
Following the game, Antetokounmpo, also known as the Greek Freak, showed respect to one of his favorite rivals, Kevin Durant. Taking to social media platform Twitter, he shared a photo of himself and Durant, expressing his love for competing against the best players in the league. Antetokounmpo’s tweet read, “I love playing against the best” accompanied by strong arm emojis.
Durant and Antetokounmpo have long been recognized as two of the top forwards in the NBA. While Antetokounmpo’s performance may have slightly declined due to age and injuries, Durant has consistently proven his ability to dominate and outshine his opponents whenever he takes the court.
The Phoenix Suns are currently on a hot streak. With their key players finally healthy, their trio of scorers has seamlessly gelled together. On the other hand, the Milwaukee Bucks’ decision to replace Adrian Griffin with Doc Rivers as head coach has not significantly improved their defensive struggles.
Considering the talent and potential of both teams, it wouldn’t be surprising to see them face off once again in the NBA Finals. This possibility becomes even more likely if Damian Lillard can regain his top form for the Portland Trail Blazers during the course of the season.
