Former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Joe Montana has been photographed showcasing a collaboration between Drake’s OVO clothing brand and the NFL ahead of Super Bowl LVIII.
Canadian rap star Drake has partnered with the NFL for a collaboration with his OVO (October’s Very Own) clothing brand ahead of Super Bowl LVIII. Montana, a legendary former quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers, has been captured modeling the new merchandise.
Montana, a four-time Super Bowl champion in 1982, 1985, 1989, and 1990, wore a purple and cream letterman jacket featuring the logos of the NFL and OVO, as well as the branding for Sunday’s Super Bowl event in Las Vegas. He was also seen wearing a cream hoodie with the OVO logo prominently displayed on the front.

This is not the first time that Drake’s fashion brand has collaborated with the NFL. In December, a collection was released featuring Snoop Dogg, Birdman, and Action Bronson as models. Last year in February, rappers Lil Wayne and Benny the Butcher showcased the pieces that were available on the NFL’s website.
Montana’s selection as the face of this collaboration is not a coincidence. The 67-year-old has a special connection to this particular Super Bowl because he has played for both the 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs. Although he did not win the Vince Lombardi Trophy with the Chiefs, he had a successful two-year stint with the team, leading them to the AFC Championship game in his first season.
The highly anticipated Super Bowl LVIII will take place on Sunday, February 11 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The Chiefs will be aiming to defend their title after last year’s victory, while the favored 49ers will be looking to win the championship for the first time since 1994.
