Liverpool have reportedly received another setback as Mohamed Salah is now uncertain for the upcoming Premier League match against Luton Town in the middle of the week.
The Reds welcomed Salah back to the team for their 4-1 victory over Brentford away from home, with the Egyptian international finding the back of the net in his first game back since participating in AFCON with his national team.
However, according to Kora Plus, it is now being reported that Salah has aggravated a hamstring problem after coming on as a substitute against Brentford on Saturday.
Liverpool supporters will be hoping that this does not turn out to be a serious or long-term issue, as it appears that Salah may only miss one game at this point.
Jurgen Klopp’s squad currently sits at the top of the Premier League standings, but they have recently been plagued by several injury concerns, including key players such as Alisson and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
With Arsenal and Manchester City hot on their heels, Liverpool will be eager to have these influential players back as soon as possible in order to maintain the high level of performance required to stay at the summit of the table.
