The brand with the scorpion logo has faced difficulties in the past due to its close ties with Fiat. However, they now have something fresh to offer. In addition to their traditional gasoline-powered models, they have introduced the Abarth 500e. And soon, they will also unveil the Abarth 600e.
The Abarth 600e was recently teased, boasting an impressive 237 horsepower. Both the Abarth 500e and 600e are a glimpse into the future. However, they may not be as adored as their gasoline-powered counterparts, as one of the defining characteristics of an Abarth was its unique exhaust note. Despite their compact size, these models had a powerful presence.
If money is not a concern, Abarth is providing enthusiasts with one last opportunity to own something truly special. The limited edition Abarth 695 75° Anniversario pays tribute to the brand’s 1.4-liter engine with only 1,368 units available. This edition signifies both the brand’s milestone anniversary and the engine’s capacity of 1,368cc.
Equipped with a Garrett GT 1446 turbocharger, the engine delivers 180 horsepower and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque at 3,000 rpm. With a top speed of 140 mph (225 kph) and a 0-62 mph (0-100 kph) time of 6.7 seconds, the Abarth 695 is far from sluggish, despite some comparisons to a snail due to its appearance. The model also features the Record Monza active valve exhaust system and Koni FSD shock absorbers on both axles.
To ensure that this special edition stands out, it comes with a unique livery. The roof features a large gold scorpion logo, while the sides display the Abarth script and other distinctive details. Gold Abarth logos are also present on each side, and the braking system is covered by exclusive 17-inch gold wheels with black Brembo aluminum calipers and 305x28mm ventilated and perforated disks. Additionally, there are 75° Anniversario decals in the shape of a piston head.
Inside the vehicle, customers will find a high-quality black Alcantara dashboard, Sabelt carbon fiber seats, Alcantara inserts, a 7-inch DAB radio infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, automatic AC, Beats audio, and a navigation system. The vehicle also includes Mopar Connect features such as My:Assistant, My:Remote Control, My:Car, and My:Journey.
Looking ahead, the next special edition will be the New Abarth 600e Scorpionissima launch version, which will also be produced in limited numbers, with only 1,949 units available.
