The Philadelphia Eagles may experience significant changes to their roster during the offseason following their disappointing performance in the 2023 NFL playoffs.
The Eagles went from being a strong contender to a team that fell short towards the end of the 2023 NFL season, ultimately losing to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Wild Card round.
Philadelphia struggled on the field and seemed like a mere shadow of their former selves, which could be attributed to the departure of their previous offensive and defensive coordinators, Shane Steichen and Jonathan Gannon, respectively.
Now, the team’s management must find a way to enhance the roster with additional talent despite financial constraints.
The defense, in particular, requires significant improvement as they became an easily penetrable unit for opposing teams.
Furthermore, it appears that Haason Reddick may be seeking a trade, as reported by Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
“Haason Reddick, an All-Pro edge rusher for the Eagles, has been granted permission to explore potential trade opportunities after another impressive season featuring double-digit sacks. The 29-year-old player, who has recorded 27 sacks over two seasons in Philadelphia, could find a new team,” Rapoport revealed.

Reddick’s desire to leave comes as a surprise considering his exceptional performance for the Eagles. However, it is possible that the team is hesitant to commit long-term financial resources to a veteran player.
With one more year remaining on his contract, Reddick is likely to demand a substantial deal given his productivity.
Given his disruptive abilities on the field, any team would benefit from having him as an edge rusher, making him an attractive option in the trade market.
