According to certain reports, there are indications that chief selector Ajit Agarkar will hold a meeting with Kohli.

was absent from the initial two Tests of the five-match Test series against England, citing personal reasons. Amid speculation surrounding Anushka Sharma’s pregnancy and Kohli’s mother Saroj Kohli’s illness, his former Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) teammate AB de Villiers revealed that Kohli is spending time with his family due to the impending arrival of a second child.
Currently, it remains uncertain when Kohli will make his return. The management is also unaware of his availability, and as per reports, chief selector Ajit Agarkar is scheduled to meet with him to discuss this matter in the context of the third Test.
As per certain reports, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is expected to announce the squad for the third Test on Tuesday (February 5). The third Test is set to commence on February 15 in Rajkot.
Following India’s victory in the second Test by a margin of 106 runs in Visakhapatnam, Rahul Dravid was asked about Kohli’s potential comeback during the press conference. Dravid deferred to the selectors, suggesting that they would be better equipped to address this question.
