Grand Theft Auto kicked off the Lunar New Year of the Dragon last week with a plethora of gifts and opportunities. They generously gave away the brand new Regal Dragon Mask and Midnight Dragon Mask, along with the chance to acquire even more flashy items like the Wooden Dragon Mask, Red Lunar New Year Dress, and Black Lunar New Year Tee. On top of all that, players who logged in between February 8-14 were rewarded with a Red Envelope filled with GTA$188,888.
Now, the game studio is shining the spotlight on the Gallivanter Baller ST-D, which is inspired by the real-life fifth-generation Range Rover (L460). The “SD-T” aspect is a deliberate nod to the spirit of Rockstar Games. This supercharged SUV is priced at approximately $1,715,000 and can be purchased from the Legendary Motorsport website.
The real-life counterpart of this vehicle comes in a variety of engine options. Firstly, there’s the P530 gasoline engine with a 4.4-liter V8 that can produce either 523 hp or 530 ps. Additionally, there are three 3.0-liter diesel mild hybrids – D250, D300, and D350 – which can generate 246, 297, and 346 horsepower respectively. Lastly, there are two mild hybrid engines, P360 and P400, that can deliver 355 and 395 horsepower respectively.
For those who enjoy a more laid-back experience while working, there are Taxi Work missions available this week that offer five times the usual amount of GTA$. To take advantage of this, you’ll need to have your own Taxi Service. Fortunately, the service is currently discounted by 30% at Warstock Cache & Carry.
Furthermore, if you pay a visit to Simeon Yetarian’s Premium Deluxe Motorsport showroom this week, you’ll have the opportunity to check out several vehicles, including the Declasse Lifeguard (Emergency), Ocelot Locust (Sports), Western Bagger (Motorcycle), BF Raptor (Sports, 30% off), and Declasse Vamos (Muscle, 30% off).
As always, GTA+ members can enjoy exclusive perks, such as the Ocelot Jugular, inspired by the Jaguar XE SV Project 8. This impressive vehicle is equipped with Jaguar Land Rover’s 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine, which produces a staggering 592 hp or 600 ps. It boasts an impressive top speed of 200 mph or 322 kph and can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 3.3 seconds or reach 62 mph or 100 kph in 3.4 seconds.
Looking ahead to next week in the ever-expanding Grand Theft Auto Online universe, the developers have teased the arrival of the $1,280,000 Declasse Impaler SZ. This muscle car draws inspiration from the 1994-1996 Chevrolet Impala SS. Rumor has it that it can reach a top speed of 89.48 mph or 144 kph.
And for those who may be growing weary of this game, perhaps you might want to consider checking out Helldivers 2. This fantastic 3rd-person online co-op shooter is currently dominating the charts on Steam for a very good reason.
