Created in 2016-2017, the Lamborghini Centenario was a magnificent tribute to Ferruccio Lamborghini’s 100th birthday. This exceptional vehicle was expertly crafted with striking aesthetics both inside and out, and boasted a powerful V12 engine positioned behind the seats. It also featured a seven-speed automated manual transmission and all-wheel drive.
The powertrain in the Lamborghini Centenario was the same as its more mainstream counterpart, the Aventador, which has since been replaced by the electrified Revuelto. The naturally aspirated 6.5-liter engine produced an impressive 759 horsepower (770 ps/566 kW) at 8,500 rpm and generated 509 pound-feet (690 Nm) of torque at 5,500 rpm when this extraordinary model was manufactured.
Not only did the Lamborghini Centenario have a captivating appearance, but it also delivered exceptional performance. It could accelerate from 0 to 62 miles per hour (0-100 kph) in just 2.8 seconds. The top speed of the Coupe version was quoted by the Sant’Agata Bolognese marque as over 217 mph (350 kph), which was the same as the Roadster, although the Roadster was slightly slower in reaching sixty-two.

Whenever an uncommon vehicle like this becomes available in the used car market, it becomes a cause for celebration among automotive enthusiasts. The featured example is a 2017 model with a sleek matte black finish, highlighted by red accents on the lower parts of the body, brake calipers, and dark wheels. The interior also incorporates these two colors, and despite being manufactured seven years ago, it appears brand new.
Unfortunately, no specific details about the vehicle were provided by the seller at the time of writing. However, the digital instrument cluster indicates that it had only traveled 66 miles (112 km) at the time of cataloging, which accounts for its pristine condition both inside and out.
Naturally, vehicles of this caliber tend to command high prices, and this 2017 Lamborghini Centenario Coupe is no exception. It will be up for auction in Dubai on March 9, as part of an event hosted by RMSothebys. The auction house estimates that it will sell for $2-$2.5 million, which, although still a significant amount, is comparatively more affordable than the Roadster version we featured almost two years ago.
It’s important to note that this price range is still beyond the means of most individuals, and those fortunate enough to have such a substantial budget for a new car have numerous options to choose from. While the Lamborghini Centenario is undeniably attractive, there are other models available that offer similar appeal at a significantly lower cost.
