Rezvani has introduced its latest creation, The Beast, which shares its name with the brand’s original vehicle from a decade ago. However, this new version is a significant departure from its predecessor. The previous model was based on the Ariel Atom chassis and featured a carbon fiber body. It was equipped with a 2.4-liter supercharged engine that produced 500 horsepower and was paired with a six-speed manual transmission.
In contrast, the all-new Beast is powered by a 6.2-liter V8 engine sourced from the C8 Corvette Stingray. This engine is fitted with a pair of turbochargers and delivers an impressive 1,000 horsepower and 878 pound-feet of torque. The power is sent to the wheels through an eight-speed Termec dual-clutch automatic transmission with paddle shifters.
The performance of the Beast is truly remarkable. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.5 seconds and complete a quarter-mile sprint in 9.6 seconds. The top speed is not disclosed by Rezvani. Despite its incredible power, the Beast weighs 2,960 pounds, significantly more than its predecessor, which tipped the scales at only 1,650 pounds.
The design of the Beast draws inspiration from both the Corvette and the 2014 Beast model. It features large side intakes, a removable targa top, and signature low headlights that Rezvani refers to as “predatory eyes.” The car is also equipped with unique Dragon Wings doors. The Beast rides on 20-inch wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires.
In addition to its impressive performance and design, the Beast offers optional features that set it apart. For an additional $55,000, buyers can opt for bulletproof glass and body armor. The car also includes a smokescreen feature and a pepper spray dispenser, reminiscent of military operations. These features are part of the “007” package, which costs $45,000.
Buyers can further customize their Beast with additional features such as a siren and horn, intercom system, gas masks, strobe lights, and explosive device detection. The interior of the car is focused on the driver, with a cockpit design inspired by Formula 1. The dashboard is covered in black leather with red stitching.
The starting price for the all-new Rezvani Beast is $485,000. However, with the optional “007” package and bulletproofing, the price can reach $585,000. Only 20 units of the Beast will be produced.
