A young tennis professional from the Philippines had a friendly exchange with the Filipino-Saudi ambassador. This is a positive development for the WTA, as a player had a productive meeting with the official. Despite the stereotypical perception of Saudi Arabia regarding women, they have not been warmly received by many female tennis players.
