Former NFL superstar Shannon Sharpe has offered to coach Twitch streamer Kai Cenat for next year’s NBA Ruffles All-Star Celebrity Game. The game, organized by the National Basketball Association in partnership with potato chips company Ruffles, featured two teams of celebrities. Cenat, along with NFL superstar Micah Parsons, was a part of Team Shannon, coached by Sharpe, while Team Stephen A was coached by Stephen A Smith.
Before the NBA Ruffles All-Star Celebrity Game, Cenat warmed up by playing a game against children, which went viral and entertained fans. After the game, Cenat showed Sharpe the video of himself playing against the kids. Sharpe jokingly teased Cenat, saying that the kids were so young that they were still wearing diapers.
Despite Cenat’s underwhelming performance in the game, Sharpe expressed his support for him and promised to coach him again in the future. Sharpe also pledged to train Cenat to improve his skills and offered him 22 minutes of playtime to prove himself on the court.
Cenat’s participation in the NBA Ruffles All-Star Celebrity Game was a surprise to many, as he is primarily known as a Twitch streamer. Although he has showcased his basketball skills in the past, his performance in the game was disappointing. Cenat only played for five minutes, scored four points, and there are even funny clips of him being ignored by his teammates.
