Engineered to provide the perfect combination of comfort, speed, and environmental friendliness, the latest addition to the luxurious hybrid catamarans in the Ultima range boasts an advanced design that improves performance and energy efficiency. The 77-foot vessel’s sleek and sporty body is created to minimize resistance, while the shallow draft ensures easy access to any marina.
“We now have the ultimate hull shape for those seeking quick getaways with speed, comfort, and style. To achieve this, we have combined the best elements of multihull and monohull design philosophy,” stated Francis Lapp, the founder and president of Sunreef.
This versatile and dynamic catamaran promises to provide demanding owners with an exceptional yachting experience that prioritizes sustainability and comfort. To achieve this, the Polish yacht builder has equipped the 77 Ultima with the latest environmentally-friendly technology, including an advanced diesel-electric hybrid propulsion system and a spacious living area of 304 square meters (3,272 square feet).
Following the footsteps of its counterparts in the Ultima range (the 44, 55, 66, and 88 models), the newcomer also features the yard’s unique “solar skin” system, which includes solar panels integrated into the bimini roof, hulls, superstructure, and bow terrace to generate clean energy on board. Additionally, Sunreef claims that the custom batteries used in the 77 Ultima are 30 percent lighter than other batteries commonly used in the maritime industry.
The modern and sleek silhouette of the 77 Ultima is designed for agility, minimal resistance, and aerodynamics. The catamaran can also be equipped with computer-controlled hydrofoils to glide over the waves.
In terms of amenities, one of the standout features of the new Sunreef catamaran is the expansive aft deck, which includes fold-out bulwarks and serves as both a jet ski garage and a large sun pad. Equally impressive is the flybridge, which offers a spacious relaxation area with a Jacuzzi and ample lounging space. Guests can also enjoy the breathtaking ocean views from the foredeck, where two large sunbeds are available.
The interior of the catamaran can be fully customized to fit the needs and lifestyle of prospective customers. With a beam of 8.2 meters (27 feet), the catamaran offers generous living spaces. It can accommodate up to ten guests in five cabins, including a luxurious owner’s suite that spans between the two hulls and features a walkaround queen bed, a sitting area, and a large private bathroom. Each hull also includes two guest cabins and crew cabins at the rear.
With their shallow draft, sleek and energy-efficient hulls, and commitment to sustainability, the yachts in Sunreef’s Ultima range redefine luxury cruising and bring a fresh perspective to the world of yachting.
