One of the major storylines of the NFL season revolved around pop sensation Taylor Swift. Throughout the regular season and the playoffs, her relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce garnered significant attention. Even during the Super Bowl, Swift was front and center, captured by CBS cameras celebrating and anxiously watching the game just like the rest of us. When the Chiefs emerged victorious in overtime, Swift joined Kelce and the team on the field to celebrate, much like she had done in Baltimore two weeks prior.
Following the big win, Swift and Kelce were spotted enjoying the nightlife in Las Vegas. However, it remains uncertain if Swift will be present at the upcoming grand celebration.
Currently, the Chiefs parade is underway in downtown Kansas City, where residents are commemorating the arrival of the Lombardi Trophy at Arrowhead Stadium for the third time. Enormous crowds are expected, passionately supporting their hometown team. Unfortunately, Taylor Swift is not expected to make an appearance.
Due to her concert tour commitments, Swift is scheduled to perform in Australia on Thursday night. With the time difference placing Australia 17 hours ahead of Kansas City, her chances of attending the parade are slim. Although there was a small window of opportunity, it would leave little time for rest for the jet-lagged singer, who recently flew from Japan to Las Vegas.
Confirmation came when Swift’s private jet touched down in Melbourne on Wednesday morning. It remains unclear if Kelce will join his girlfriend during any of her international tour stops. While he did visit Argentina during the season when she performed there, another trip would be necessary to be with her for the next month. Swift will be performing in Australia until the end of the month before heading to Singapore for six shows in early March.
