Adin Ross expressed his apologies to his fans for the delay in the appearance of Playboi Carti and criticized the rapper, describing him as unoriginal and cringeworthy. The popular streamer, Adin Ross, has been facing a series of challenges in recent days. Following his recent collaborative stream with Playboi Carti, Ross opened up about his experience, taking the opportunity to mock the rapper and express his regret to his audience.
Despite being paid $2 million, Playboi Carti only spent less than 10 minutes on Adin’s stream. Moreover, the rapper did not engage in any conversation with the streamer, merely uttering a brief “thank you” and “I love you” before leaving with a bag of money. Ross felt disrespected by Carti’s behavior and shared his disappointment with his fans.
Ross criticized Carti for consistently portraying a contrived persona, which he found to be cringeworthy and lacking authenticity. Even Ross’s fans agreed with this sentiment, asserting that such behavior was unbecoming of a grown man like Carti.
“I no longer tolerate such behavior. I don’t care who you are or how famous you are. I don’t care about any of that nonsense. This contrived persona is utterly ridiculous and embarrassing, period,” Ross stated.
Despite already amassing over 400k viewers prior to Carti’s appearance, Ross felt compelled to apologize to his fans due to the unfavorable outcome of the collaboration. This was the first time Ross had not had direct contact with a guest before they appeared on his stream, despite having collaborated with renowned artists such as Chris Brown and 21 Savage in the past. Ross vowed to never again engage in collaborations without establishing direct contact, regardless of the individual’s level of fame, before denouncing Carti as cringeworthy and unoriginal.
Additionally, Ross extended his apologies to his fans for the anticipation he had built up over the past few days regarding the collaboration.
“This is the first time I have ever done a guest stream with a prominent artist without establishing direct contact beforehand. I had direct contact with Kanye West, Chris Brown, and 21 Savage. I spent time with Lil Uzi Vert for a week before streaming with him. I had TJ’s number,” Ross explained.
Adin Ross’s fans patiently waited for Playboi Carti for over 6 hours, only to be met with a mere 6-minute appearance during which the rapper remained silent. This incident greatly disappointed many people and resulted in a loss of respect for Carti. Consequently, Ross vowed to never again host guest streams, as he has consistently had negative experiences with them.
