Last month, Dodge unveiled a few sneak peek images of the 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona EV, the production model of the Charger Daytona SRT concept. According to recent reports, the electric muscle car is set to make its debut on March 5.
Prepare to bid farewell to the V8-powered Dodge Chargers, as the new Charger is expected to hit the market later this year. While Dodge has yet to officially announce the debut date, Automotive News and Motor1 suggest that it will take place next month.
Based on the teaser photos, it appears that the Charger Daytona will closely resemble the 2022 Daytona concept. Dodge has not disclosed specific details about the electric powertrain options, but it is known that the vehicle will utilize an 800-volt architecture. The highest-performance variant could potentially deliver an impressive 900 horsepower. For those who still prefer a gasoline-powered version, there are reports suggesting that the Hurricane twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six engine may also be available.
