Mini recently revealed the 2025 Mini Cooper EV in the autumn of last year. However, if you’re not completely sold on an electric vehicle, don’t worry because Mini will also offer gasoline-powered versions. Mini has confirmed that both the Cooper and Cooper S models in the United States will be equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine.
The Cooper S boasts an impressive 201 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 6.3 seconds. Unfortunately, Mini has yet to disclose the specifications of the base Cooper’s engine.
Production of the Cooper S is set to commence in March, followed by the Cooper in July. The starting price for the Cooper, including destination charges, is $29,945, while the Cooper S starts at $33,195.
