In this week’s edition of The Crew Motorfest and The Crew 2, we have some exciting updates to share. Not only are new vehicles being introduced, but we also get a sneak peek into the game’s upcoming features. Let’s dive in!
First up, developer Ivory Tower presents the fierce-looking 2010 Mini Cooper S Checkered Edition. While we don’t have the exact power specifications for this Performance Level car, we do know that it can reach a top speed of at least 186 mph or 300 kph. It’s quite impressive for a Mini! The closest real-life counterpart would be the Mini John Cooper Works GP, which boasts a 225 kW/306 hp 4-cylinder turbocharged engine and can hit speeds of 165 mph (266 kph).
Moving on to The Crew Motorfest events, starting from 14-21 February, we have the exciting Way of Lightning event. This will be followed by This vs. That from the 21st until the 28th. On February 28, Pitstop Pressure makes its debut and will run until March 6. Finally, from March 6 to 13, get ready for the Hoonigan Showreel.
Next, we have the Year of the Dragon Bundle, which includes the 2017 Audi RS 3 LMS and the 2016 Yamaha YZR-M1 racing bike (240 hp). The RS 3 delivers an impressive 350 hp and has a top speed of 165 mph or 265 kph. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds.
Now, let’s talk about the prices. The Year of the Dragon Bundle will cost you around 629k Bucks or 90,000 Crew Credits. Unfortunately, you’ll need to purchase the latter with real money. Personally, I prefer to grind and earn in-game currency rather than spending extra cash on a game I’ve already paid $70 for.
Last but not least, we have the Custom Bundle priced at 91,000 Crew Credits. This bundle includes the rear-wheel-drive 2008 Spyker C8 LaViolette GT2-R, complete with Yellow Smoke, Yellow Underglow, and Yellow Stripes Tire. It features a powerful 4.2-liter V8 Audi-sourced engine, delivering 400 hp with 354 lb-ft or 480 Nm of torque. With a weight of 2,480 lbs. or 1,125 kg, it can go from 0 to 62 mph or 100 kph in just 4.5 seconds and has a top speed of 187 mph or 301 kph.
Lastly, if you successfully complete the Live Summit event in The Crew 2, you’ll be rewarded with the exclusive 1967 Chevy Impala LowRider Red Duchess Edition. This stunning vehicle, adorned with red finishes, packs a punch with its 385 hp engine. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 7.4 seconds and has a top speed of 125 mph or 201 kph.
Before we wrap up, here’s a quick side note for those looking for a unique gaming experience. Give Helldivers 2 a try! It’s an excellent Live Service game available on PlayStation 5 and PC.
