Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 236 has experienced a couple of modifications, as announced by the promotion on Tuesday.
Due to visa complications, Albert Duraev will not be able to compete against OKTAGON import Robert Bryczek (17-5 MMA, 0-0 UFC). In Duraev’s absence, Ihor Potieira (20-5 MMA, 1-3 UFC) will step in and make his UFC middleweight debut. This alteration was initially reported by MMA Mania.
Additionally, Fernie Garcia (10-4 MMA, 0-3 UFC) from Fortis MMA will replace the injured Melsik Baghdasaryan and face off against Hyder Amil (8-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC), a Dana White’s Contender Series alumnus, in a featherweight bout. This change was first reported by Eurosport NL.
The event, set to take place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, will proceed with a total of 14 fights available for streaming on ESPN+.
