Cadillac has announced that the electric Escalade iQL will also be available in a long-wheelbase version, following the footsteps of its gas-powered counterpart. This confirmation comes from Car and Driver, although the exact release date has not been disclosed by a Cadillac spokesperson. While the standard Escalade iQ is set to debut this summer, it is anticipated that the long-wheelbase iQL will arrive at a later time.
The Escalade IQ, already measuring 224.3 inches in length, 76.1 inches in height, and 94.1 inches in width, features a 136.2-inch wheelbase. This wheelbase is already more than a foot longer than the regular Escalade and only three inches shorter than the Escalade ESV. The Escalade iQ is equipped with a dual motor powertrain, generating an impressive 750 hp and 785 pound-feet of torque. It is highly likely that the iQL will share the same powertrain. Furthermore, the 2025 Escalade iQ is projected to offer a driving range of up to 450 miles.
