The new variation of the vehicle made its debut at the White Turf event in Saint Moritz, located in the Swiss Alps. This event, known for its luxury equestrian activities, was the perfect setting for the “luxury car” that is the Genesis GV70 Snow. Designed and constructed by Delta 4×4, this unique creation was made to cater to winter sports enthusiasts, providing them with a way to indulge in their passion.
The car is painted in white, which serves as a form of camouflage when driving in snowy landscapes. This effect is further enhanced by the custom-made skis provided by Swiss company Anavon, as part of their collaboration with the Korean carmaker. These skis can be conveniently transported using the roof rack, located near a set of 40-inch LED bars supplied by Vision X. Additionally, four Baja Design Fog Lights have been mounted on the front bumper to provide extra lighting for off-road adventures.
Equipped with 18-inch Klassik B Rugged wheels finished in black and BF Goodrich KO2 tires, sized at 265/60R18 on both axles, the Genesis GV70 Snow boasts an impressive ground clearance due to the beefy tires and a suspension lift kit. To further enhance its appearance, Delta 4×4 has extended the fenders, giving the model a bold and daring look.
No modifications have been made to the engine of the GV70, as both Genesis and Delta 4×4 have chosen to keep the stock 3.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine. This engine produces 375 horsepower and 391 pound-feet of torque, which is distributed to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission.
It remains to be seen whether the body kit of the GV70 Snow edition will be made available as an option for existing cars or if it will remain a unique creation that Genesis will showcase at special events. The GV Snow edition shares similarities with the GV70 Camping Gear Black Edition, which was unveiled by the carmaker in October. This model also included various camping accessories, such as a retractable rooftop tent from iKemper and black chairs and a matching table.
Delta 4×4 has also developed the GV70 Project Overland for the European market. This concept car, which commemorated the 40th anniversary of the off-road specialist, was showcased at the Essen Motor Show in Germany last December.
