Liverpool are currently on the hunt for a new manager ahead of the 2024/25 season and one name that has emerged as a potential candidate is Ange Postecoglou of Tottenham.
The Australian manager made a significant move from Celtic to Tottenham last summer and has quickly won over the Spurs supporters.
The North London club currently hold the fourth position in the Premier League and have become one of the most thrilling teams to watch in Europe.
Jurgen Klopp will be departing from Liverpool at the end of the season and when Postecoglou was asked about the vacant position at Anfield during his recent press conference, he stated that he has not given it any thought.
“I don’t want to comment on that because I don’t believe it will ever cross my mind, considering my priorities in life and profession,” said the Tottenham boss, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
“If it’s just people throwing around names, why should it matter?”

Postecoglou would undoubtedly bring excitement to Liverpool, but it is highly unlikely to happen as he has only just begun his tenure in North London.
The Spurs coach has previously admitted to being a Liverpool supporter, and it may be a dream for him in the future. However, for now, the 58-year-old is focused on Tottenham and their progression.
Xabi Alonso is rumored to be the frontrunner for the managerial position at Anfield, but only time will tell who will ultimately succeed Klopp on Merseyside.
