Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill has expressed his feelings about watching his former team, the Kansas City Chiefs, play in the Super Bowl for the second year in a row. Hill, who is up for NFL Offensive Player of the Year, shared his thoughts while on the red carpet at the NFL Honors. He congratulated his former teammates and coaches but couldn’t help but feel a tinge of sadness that he wasn’t playing in the big game himself. Hill referred to himself as the “sad little brother” while discussing the Chiefs’ success.
This is the first time Hill has publicly shown any signs of disappointment about not being a part of the Chiefs’ Super Bowl journey. However, it doesn’t mean that he regrets his decision to request a trade two years ago. Chiefs Kingdom can find solace in the fact that Hill will be watching the game from the comfort of his couch while Kansas City thrives without him.
