The second T20I encounter between Australia and West Indies was filled with powerful hits and boundaries, as both teams surpassed the 200-run mark in their respective innings. There were a total of 27 sixes and 38 boundaries throughout the match, resulting in a combined score of 241 runs.
During one of these 27 maximums, many spectators were able to catch the ball, but in one instance, it was dropped. Disappointed, a fan retrieved the ball and threw it back onto the field, but missed completely. Instead, it struck one of the ball attendants sitting at the boundary lines on the head.

The match was highly entertaining, with an abundance of boundaries. Australia, batting first, posted a score of 241, with Glenn Maxwell achieving his fifth century in T20I matches. He received support from Mitchell Marsh and Tim David, who contributed quickfire scores of 29 and 31, respectively. Apart from Johnson Charles, Rovman Powell, Andre Russell, and Jason Holder, most of the batters failed to make an impact. Powell was the top scorer with a fifty, but West Indies ultimately lost by a margin of 34 runs.
Heading into the second match, Glenn Maxwell had a strong feeling that there would be a centurion from either team. Disappointed with his performance in the first match, he was initially going to be rested for the second match. However, he managed to convince the team management to let him play by explaining that his family was coming over. His request was granted, and it turned out to be a successful decision as he scored an unbeaten 120 runs off 55 balls.
Coming in to bat at number four, Maxwell hit 12 boundaries and eight sixes, contributing significantly to the final score of 241. The all-rounder did not have the opportunity to contribute with the ball, as Adam Zampa was the sole spinner used in the match.
