A legal complaint by an ex-WWE employee, filed against McMahon, had significant consequences. The lawsuit, filed in a federal court in Connecticut, contained serious allegations accusing the former WWE Chairman of engaging in sexual trafficking. One of McMahon’s closest allies, Prichard, has now spoken out about the matter.
Appearing on the podcast alongside his co-host, Prichard, who is currently an executive at WWE, gave a carefully crafted response. He made it clear that he does not have the freedom to discuss any legal matters. Furthermore, Prichard confirmed that he is neither named in the lawsuit nor being sued. He expressed confidence in the US federal system and its ability to deliver justice where it is deserved.
At one point during the podcast, Prichard’s co-host, Thompson, questioned whether WWE had any influence over Prichard’s public appearances while the company was under legal scrutiny. Prichard clarified that his only obligation is as a WWE employee and that he is not bound by any other means to say more.

Over the years, Prichard has been known for being Vince McMahon’s right-hand man. Despite not being a McMahon by birth, he has wielded significant administrative power within the company. In 2019, WWE appointed Prichard as the combined creative force behind Raw and SmackDown. However, when McMahon became WWE’s Chief Content Officer, Prichard began reporting to him.
After Vince McMahon stepped down as the Executive Chairman of TKO’s Board of Directors, more details emerged. Former UFC star and WWE Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey publicly criticized her former boss.
Rousey referred to Bruce Prichard as Vince’s representative. She also stated that as long as Prichard is present, McMahon will continue to have influence. Rousey confirmed that even after McMahon initially retired from WWE in mid-2022, he was still calling the shots through Prichard.
Considering Ronda’s years of experience in WWE and her status as one of their top stars, she was well aware of what was happening behind the scenes during her time there. Her final match took place against at SummerSlam last year.
