The 2024 Ford Mustang S650, the seventh generation of this iconic vehicle, made its debut at dealerships across the country last summer. Since then, it has captivated fans of the Blue Oval and helped the previous generation, the S550, regain its position as the king of sports cars by the end of 2023. The Mustang S650 is available in two classic versions: the fastback coupe and the Convertible. The starting price for these models is $30,920, but if you prefer a V8 engine or the exhilarating feeling of driving with the top down, you’ll have to pay a bit more. The EcoBoost Convertible starts at $39,000, while the GT Fastback begins at almost $42,000. As you move up the range, the prices increase even further. The most expensive Convertible is the GT Premium, priced at nearly $52,000, and the Dark Horse Premium edition will set you back a whopping $63,480. While these prices may seem high, Ford knows that there is currently no competition in the market, as the sixth generation Chevy Camaro and the L-bodied Dodge Charger and Challenger have ceased production. Some may argue that only a Dark Horse edition can truly unleash the full potential of the Mustang without paying supercar prices for the GTD. However, some aftermarket companies claim that even the Mustang GT is more than capable of delivering an exhilarating experience. Lethal Performance recently demonstrated this by modifying a 2024 Ford Mustang GT. They increased the horsepower to a staggering 486 by adding a 3.0-liter Gen 6 Whipple supercharger. This modification resulted in a total of over 808 horsepower at the rear wheels! Additionally, Lethal Performance enhanced the Mustang’s sound by installing a Corsa Performance Xtreme Cat-Back Exhaust. The installation was done at RSA Race Solutions in Boynton Beach, Florida. Don’t forget to check out the video below to see the installation process and hear the incredible sound of this modified Mustang.
