The 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ shares the same construction as the GMC Hummer EV, Sierra EV, and Chevrolet Silverado EV. It utilizes 800-volt technology, allowing it to add up to 100 miles or 161 km to its range in just 10 minutes when connected to a DC power source.
Equipped with a 200+ kWh capacity, the Escalade IQ’s battery pack consists of 24 modules, providing a range of approximately 450 miles (724 km). Its bi-motor setup and all-wheel drive deliver a combined output of 680 hp (690 ps/507 kW) and 615 pound-foot (834 Nm) of torque. In Velocity Max mode, these numbers increase to 750 hp (761 ps/560 kW) and 785 lb-ft (1,064 Nm), showcasing its impressive performance capabilities.
Additionally, the Cadillac Escalade IQ boasts substantial dimensions. It measures 224.3 inches (5,697 mm) from bumper to bumper and features a 136.2 inches (3,459 mm) long wheelbase. This makes it only 2.7 inches (68.6 mm) shorter than the larger Escalade ESV model, which has a wheelbase of 134.1 inches (3,406 mm), providing significantly more space compared to the regular model.
Cadillac has even bigger plans for its flagship electric crossover. A long-wheelbase version of the Escalade IQ, known as the Escalade IQL, is set to be released before the end of the year. It is expected to offer even more interior space, particularly for second-row occupants. The exact size of the IQL is yet to be confirmed, but it will undoubtedly make the standard Escalade appear small in comparison.
Kolesa has released renderings of the long wheelbase Escalade IQ, showcasing the increased distance between the axles while maintaining the same design. A side-by-side comparison with the regular IQ is necessary to spot the differences. Images of both versions can be found in the photo gallery above.
