SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS’ CHARVARIUS WARD PRAISES TEAM COMPARED TO CHIEFS
San Francisco 49ers cornerback Charvarius Ward, formerly of the Kansas City Chiefs, recently spoke about his experience playing for the 49ers during the opening night of the 2024 Super Bowl. When asked about the difference between the two teams, Ward confidently stated, “It’s better.” He went on to explain that he believes the 49ers are superior in every way possible.
Ward, 27, entered the NFL undrafted in 2018 after attending Middle Tennessee State. Initially signed by the Dallas Cowboys, he was later traded to the Chiefs in August of the same year. Despite facing initial challenges, Ward managed to secure a spot on Kansas City’s active roster during his rookie season. He continued to work hard and eventually earned a starting role in his second year.
Impressed by his performance, the Chiefs decided to keep Ward on the team for the following seasons. However, during the 2022 offseason, he made a significant move by signing a lucrative three-year, $40 million deal with the San Francisco 49ers. Now in his second season with the team, Ward has proven his worth by being named second team All-Pro and earning a spot in the Pro Bowl.
It is clear that Ward’s decision to join the 49ers has paid off, as he has found success and recognition with his new team. As he continues to excel on the field, it remains to be seen what other accomplishments he will achieve in the future.
