On the 24th of September, after a victory against Burnley, Marcus Rashford crashed his £700,000 Rolls-Royce Badge Wraith. The crash occurred near the training center at Carrington, when his car collided with another vehicle and struck a pole. Despite the accident, Rashford emerged unharmed and expressed his satisfaction with the win at Turf Moor.
Now, Marcus Rashford has made the decision to auction off his damaged Rolls-Royce. The vehicle has substantial front-end damage and a severely damaged left tire. There have been a total of 113 bids so far, with the highest bid currently standing at £153,000. Additionally, the car has only been driven for 1,135 miles.
The auction is taking place on a website called SalvageMarket, which specializes in the sale of wrecked vehicles. Rashford’s Rolls-Royce is the sole car listed on the website, and it has been stated that its value prior to the crash was over £700,000. The website claims that the car’s interior and engine components are in excellent condition. However, despite being able to start, the car is still not drivable. It is equipped with a 6592cc V12 engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Related: Marcus Rashford speaks out about his frightening car accident shortly after Manchester United’s win against Burnley. On the 15th of February, Marcus Rashford traveled to Chesire in his £280,000 McLaren 765T. He parked the car in a prohibited area, resulting in a parking ticket being placed on his windshield by the police. Rashford was observed removing the ticket from his car and leaving the scene.
This is not the first instance in which Rashford has been caught by the police for illegal parking. In January, while having lunch with his United teammate Tyrell Malacia, he received a parking ticket for the same car.
Rashford has struggled to score goals this season, having only netted five times in 29 appearances. He has also provided six assists, half of which were in the Premier League. The 26-year-old’s most recent goal came in a 3-4 victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux.
Currently, United and Rashford are preparing to face Luton Town at Kenilworth Road on the 18th night. In their previous encounter, United secured a comfortable 1-0 win at Old Trafford. Luton Town is currently in 17th place, just one point above the relegation zone.
