LAS VEGAS RAIDERS’ MAXX CROSBY EAGER TO TAKE DOWN KANSAS CITY CHIEFS
Las Vegas Raiders’ defensive end Maxx Crosby is not afraid to express his desire to beat the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs. In a recent interview on NFL Network, Crosby revealed that he wants the Chiefs to win the Super Bowl so that the Raiders can be the ones to dethrone them. Despite their recent win against the Chiefs on Christmas Day, the Raiders have struggled to defeat their division rivals, with a 2-8 record since Crosby joined the NFL. However, Crosby remains determined to string together wins against the Chiefs, who are currently the reigning Super Bowl champions.
Crosby also spoke highly of Chiefs’ defensive tackle Chris Jones, stating that he would welcome him on the Raiders’ team. Jones is considered one of the best in the game and would make an excellent addition to the Raiders’ defense. However, re-signing Jones is a top priority for the Chiefs, according to their general manager Brett Veach. The Chiefs have expressed their commitment to keeping Jones and fellow defender L’Jarius Sneed on their roster.
With the 2024 Super Bowl set to take place in Las Vegas, Crosby and the Raiders have their sights set on a rematch with the Chiefs. Crosby acknowledged the talent and respect he has for Chiefs’ quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Chris Jones, but he remains focused on taking them down. The Raiders have ample cap space for the 2024 season, which could potentially be used to sign Jones and create an elite duo alongside Crosby.
The highly-anticipated rematch between the Chiefs and the Raiders will take place on February 11, 2024, in Las Vegas. Fans can catch all the action on CBS.
