The Main Stage Bundle presented by The Way of the Lightning showcases two remarkable vehicles: the 2021 Hoonigan S1 e-tron quattro Hoonitron and the 2018 BMW i8 Roadster.
The Hoonigan S1, an electric all-wheel drive powerhouse, boasts an impressive 670 horsepower (680 ps) and 472 lb-ft (640 Nm) of torque. Weighing in at 3,571 lbs. or 1,620 kg, its substantial weight is partly due to the inclusion of a 50kWh battery pack. However, in the game, this beastly machine unleashes a staggering 1,400 horsepower.
Despite its remarkable performance, I must admit that the driving experience of the Hoonigan S1 fell short of expectations. It proved to be quite frustrating behind the wheel. On the contrary, the 1965 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn, with its real-life power output of 1,400 hp and 1,250 lb-ft (1,694 Nm) of torque, handles like a dream in the game. It even comes equipped with concealed machine guns on its front sides, adding an extra thrill to the gameplay.
Moving on to the 2018 BMW i8 Roadster, a plug-in hybrid with a mid-engined configuration, it offers a combination of a 228-hp 1.5-liter three-cylinder turbocharged engine and an electric motor. This 4WD ride delivers 374 horsepower (379 ps) and 236 lb-ft or 320 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in a swift 4.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 155 mph or 250 kph. However, its electric range is limited to 33 miles (53 km).
To acquire this enticing bundle, players will need to spend approximately 850,000 in-game Bucks or 121,119 Crew Credits. It’s worth noting that Crew Credits can be obtained through real-money purchases, although I would not recommend going down that path. Additionally, there is another bundle available for 14,000 Crew Credits, featuring the 2019 Volkswagen Electric R with Blue Window Tint and Green Roffo Tire. This vehicle, with its impressive 680 horsepower and 479 lb-ft (650 Nm) of torque, holds the record at Nurburgring and is undoubtedly a tempting addition to any player’s collection.
That concludes the highlights of The Crew Motorfest, but there’s still more to come. The Crew 2 has another treat in store, this time from Bavaria. If players successfully complete the “Live Summit – V for Valentine” event and achieve the platinum award before February 20, they will be rewarded with the 2016 BMW M6 GT3, along with 150k in-game followers, Visual Parts Lotus Evora (2012), and the highly sought-after V for Valentine Tire.
Furthermore, players can explore additional bundles featuring the 2012 Lotus Evora GTE, the 2019 Bugatti La Voiture Noire, the 2016 Renault R.S.01, and the 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429.
