On February 4, 2024, the 66th Annual Grammy Awards took place at the Crypto.com arena in Los Angeles.
The Grammy Awards, presented by the Record Academy of the United States, aim to acknowledge exceptional accomplishments in the music industry by various artists throughout the previous year. Many individuals who stream content, such as Kai Cenat, reacted to the ceremony.
Kai Cenat is heavily involved in the music industry scene. Not only does he frequently collaborate with various artists during his live streams, but he also regularly provides reviews of new music on his channel. Therefore, it was a given that he would react to the 66th Grammy Awards.
One of the most highly anticipated categories for fans was “Best Rap Album.” Several rap superstars, including 21 Savage, Travis Scott, Drake, and Metro Boomin’, were nominated for the award. However, the outcome was not what fans had expected.
Killer Mike emerged as the winner of the Best Rap Album award for his album, ‘Michael.’ This came as a major surprise, as fans had anticipated that artists like Travis Scott or Metro Boomin’ would take home the prize. Kai Cenat was equally astonished by this victory.
He acknowledged that he was unaware of who the winning artist was, but he congratulated him, wished him well, and offered prayers. Suddenly, Kai Cenat’s demeanor changed as he zoomed in on his facecam and looked directly into the camera. He repeated his previous statements, but this time, he got closer to the camera and began screaming.

He proceeded to loudly exclaim the names of the albums and artists who were the other nominees for the award. Kai Cenat questioned how Killer Mike’s ‘Michael’ triumphed over Drake & 21 Savage’s ‘Her Loss’ and Travis Scott’s ‘Utopia’. His fans appeared to share the same sentiment as the streamer.
