Stake has revealed its new look for the 2024 season, showcasing its revamped C44 car and strikingly redesigned livery. The team, formerly known as Alfa Romeo, has undergone a complete rebranding and now sports a vibrant green and black color scheme. The team’s fresh identity was unveiled at a glamorous event in London, attended by drivers Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu.
Unlike Williams, Stake has chosen to showcase its new car in its promotional material. The C44 is described as a significant departure from its predecessor, featuring various changes such as pull-rod suspension instead of push-rod. This car marks the first delivery since James Key returned as technical director, and the team aims to make significant progress compared to last year’s ninth-place finish in the constructors’ championship.
Alessandro Alunni Bravi, a representative of Stake, expressed his excitement about the new car and the team’s fresh start. He acknowledged the hard work of James Key, the technical team, and everyone involved in the development of the C44. Alunni Bravi emphasized that the launch of a new car is always a special moment, especially when it marks the beginning of a new era for Stake F1 Team.
The team has ambitious plans both on and off the track and is confident in the potential of the C44. While specific targets are not disclosed, Stake is focused on improving the performance of the car and the overall package. This includes areas such as the race team, on-track operations, pit stops, and strategy. The team is committed to making significant strides in all departments.
As the season progresses, Stake will evaluate its position, but the primary goal is clear: to deliver a better performance than in 2023 and continue to improve throughout the year.
