San Francisco 49ers offensive lineman Jon Feliciano has responded to Jalen Carter’s allegations that he was engaging in disrespectful banter regarding the death of his college teammate during the Week 13 matchup between the Niners and Philadelphia Eagles with some harsh accusations.
According to Feliciano, during the Niners’ game against Philadelphia in Week 13, Carter, a defensive lineman for the Eagles, made threats to “eliminate” him and suggested that his children would never see him again.
Following the game, Feliciano claims that Carter persistently harassed his loved ones for weeks by “sharing” their information and making contact with them.
“Dude told me he was gonna eliminate me and my children would never see me again 3 times because I was laughing at him after receiving a penalty… I said I believe you, you have a history. Then he continued for weeks by sharing my family’s information and reaching out to my friends,” Feliciano expressed on Twitter.
Carter, who recently completed his rookie season with the Eagles, was involved in a tragic accident during his time at the University of Georgia that resulted in the deaths of two individuals: University of Georgia staff member Chandler LeCroy and football player Devin Willock.
According to authorities, the accident occurred as a consequence of a street race involving Carter and LeCroy. Despite his involvement in the incident, the Eagles still selected Carter with the 9th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Throughout his rookie campaign in Philadelphia, Carter made appearances in 16 games, starting in only one, and recorded a total of 33 tackles, six sacks, two forced fumbles, and a touchdown.
Carter entered a plea of no contest to charges of reckless driving and street racing, receiving 12 months of probation, 80 hours of community service, and a $1,000 fine.
Furthermore, he is currently facing civil lawsuits from Devin Willock’s father and Victoria Bowles, a former Georgia staff member who survived the crash.
